These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lawhi mobile application and related services (the "App"), operated by Lawh LLC ("Lawh," "we," "us," or "our"). Lawhi is a Quran writing and memorization companion.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
The App allows you to create and store content such as memorization progress, writing, notes, and preferences ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the App to you (including syncing it across your devices).
You are responsible for your User Content and must not upload anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
The App, including its design, software, code, graphics, logos, and original content, is owned by Lawh LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or proprietary materials.
The Arabic text of the Holy Quran is sacred scripture and is not claimed as our property. Certain fonts, Quranic text data, and other third-party materials used in the App remain subject to their respective licenses and the rights of their owners. Our intellectual property rights cover our own original work — the App's software, design, and features — not the Quranic text itself.
Lawhi is intended as a study and memorization aid. While we strive for accuracy, you should not rely solely on the App for religious rulings or as a definitive reference. We encourage you to verify Quranic text against an authoritative printed Mushaf and to consult qualified scholars for religious guidance. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or differences in rendering, and we make no warranty regarding the religious accuracy or completeness of any content.
The App is currently free to download and use. We may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the future. When we do, the following will apply:
The App relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google, and Apple. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control them.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any data will always be available or accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lawh LLC and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lawh LLC and its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Indiana, unless otherwise required by applicable law in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
